Office of Career Services

College is a period of exploration but at the same time sound decisions must be made regarding your career. At BIBT, we are here to help you make the right decision. We understand that many factors help to determine the career path you will take and to this end we work with you to ensure that you gain the right success for career success.

All students are encouraged to take full advantage of the career services. Alumni may alo find the office of career service beneficial to career advancement.

The Office of Career Services provide the following services:

Career Advising: Advisors are available to discuss career options with students and to help them customize a career plan and steps necessary for career success.

Develop Job and Career Skills: Preparing for a successful career involves activities well beyond the classroom. Accordingly, the college has scheduled career workshops to assist students in many areas of personal and professional development. Some topics covered include resume and cover letter development, workplace skills development and self-development.

Search for Internships and Jobs: The Office of Career Services assist students and alumni with locating employment opportunities. You are invited to contact the office for a complete listing of current openings. Students who are eligible for internships should sign up with the office prior to the schedule date of their internship to ensure that the appropriate arrangements are put in place with their designated internship partner.

Plan for Graduate Studies: Many of our alumni go on to pursue graduate level studies. The Office of Career Services makes every effort to assist alumni make the transition into graduate school as seamless as possible.
